McKinnon Presbyterian Church
McKinnon
Full refurbishment of the church built in 1947, including the removal and replacement of an asbestos roof and walls, sanding and staining the original floor boards, building a new extension for a kitchen and toilets, and upgrade the church to be wheelchair accessible.
The worship area was fully upgraded, which included new lighting, windows, new AV system, larger accessible doors and a hearing augmentation system.
The old external toilet located in the back garden was demolished and new internal toilets were built in the extension. Toilets are fully DDA and Ambulant compliant.
A new Kitchen was added with ovens, dishwasher, tiled floor, large fridge, and a tea making facility.
A decking with a covered pergola was built in the back garden, with lighting and garden access for outdoor entertainment.
With an excellent site management team, hardworking subcontractors and an involved client, the team delivered a end product that the local community can use for years to come.
