Altona Esplanade
Sitting waterside of the Altona Esplanade, the Altona Life Saving Club Tower has been refurbished to improve its ability to serve the community.
With upgrades to the storage shed, the addition of a first aid room, and a new roof to cover the balcony, the improved tower is now being used by Altona LSC for its summer patrols.
The addition of a first aid room, as well as beach showers are a big benefit to beachgoers, with the exposed steel and Australian hardwood giving the building a hardwearing look that ties it in to the surrounding shelters and other beach features.
